Dmitri Sarkisov

Dmitri Sarkisov (b. 1983, Tbilisi, Georgia) is an artist living and working in Yerevan (Armenia). His work looks at how reality is shaped and destabilized by contemporary technological and informational systems. He is interested in how perception and belief are formed under conditions of uncertainty, where different versions of reality coexist and compete. Working across different media, Sarkisov creates situations that reflect on control, instability, and the ways in which reality is constructed and experienced today. He approaches technology not simply as a tool, but as a system that structures experience. His works often remain open-ended, allowing meaning to emerge through the viewer’s engagement.
